Different people will respond in different ways to the messages you send. Some will be more interested in tips & information, others will be looking for sales and exclusive offers you may offer. No matter who you’re emailing or how varied the demographics of your list may be, there are some email marketing best practices you should keep in mind and implement to maximize your results from your email marketing.
Some would argue that the subject line is the most important part of an email, and I’m inclined to agree. Without an open-worthy subject line, your emails will likely get skipped over and sent straight to the trash. It doesn’t matter how much time and effort you put into the email body if no one opens the email in the first place. Subject lines are a great place to focus some time and effort on as you plan and improve your email marketing strategies.
